VÏKÆ is a Ukrainian born alt-pop artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau. After wowing crowds at Bay Dreams 2021, VÏKÆ brings her eclectic, freshly developed show to Whakatū for the first time.
Blending the best of emo rebellion and pop sensibilities, VÏKÆ sings for the voiceless, the underdogs and the strange. Her lyrical content explores complexities and intrigue within storylines that transcend songs; the hint of late 80s/90s nostalgia and cinematic brooding base lines add drama to the dance-floor.
Joining her on stage is Dean Rodrigues who has performed with some of the most iconic musicians in Aotearoa.

Sylvee is a singer-songwriter from Whakatū. Her exquisite vocals and warm melodies exude raw emotion and intricately weave together a landscape of poetic lyricism and production, which shifts effortlessly from delicate to soaring. After making her debut in 2019 with her EP, Life on Mars, Sylvee’s journey in music is just beginning.
