Koha to community
A variation on drive-in movies – bike in, enjoy live Latino performances and learn about Hispanic & Latino culture on the big screen.
Venture out on your bike and catch a short documentary or two on Kirby Lane between 8.00 and 9.00pm. There will also be live performances from 7.30pm, guaranteed to bring Latino-style ambience into central Nelson. A collaboration between Nelson Arts Festival, Multicultural Nelson Tasman and NelsonSon Afro & Latin Dance.
Cycle-in Flix brings Latino culture/flavour to Nelson in a new and exciting way in place of LASFF (Latin America and Spain Film Fest), which could not be held this year.
Films are in Spanish and/or Portuguese, and all have English subtitles.
In case of bad weather, check this page or Nelson Arts Festival Facebook from 5pm on the Thursday to see if it is going ahead.
